June 11, 2017

It was a jam packed week last week and this coming week is going to be the same.

I started the week in the studio working on some new tracks – which really is one of the things that makes me the happiest in life.

The lovely Richard Sadler and I have decided, excitingly, that once we are happy with the tracks we will release a track every month or six weeks. Whilst I have a lot of blogging commitments, which I am also loving, it just doesn’t seem right to not to make new music…and what is great about collaborating with Richard is that apart from being one of the loveliest people I know, his creativity has taken my songs in an unusual direction for me, which I am looking forward to sharing with you.

I also had a great meeting mid week with A Brilliant Life singer, Matt Cull. We have had a few chats and whilst I am not quite ready to lay out what we are planning but we have decided to collaborate on a very exciting project – which for me, will be fulfilling a life long dream…

So whilst the world at large seems to be more uncertain than ever, and often fills me with despondency and worry – my own little piece of life has a good amount of joy in it and for that I am very grateful, I really hope it is the same for you.

Here is the week just gone in pictures. From top left clockwise we have:

1. Beautiful peonies.

2. Me, in a recent black and white car selfie.

3. A beautiful creation featured in the Balenciaga exhibition at the V&A Museum. If you haven’t been – do go, Balenciaga was a real tour de force in the fashion industry.

4. Me in the studio.

5. Friday night…

6. One of the many delicious caffeine hits I have had this week.

7. A great Bob Kerry vote – couldn’t agree more with this.

Hope you have a wonderful week ahead x
